A Journey That Changed The World.

Chapter 1346: Sounds Good To Me

''Captain! Did you just feel that?'' a woman asked in a concerned voice. ''It feels like someone is watching us?''

The older man named Stephan, was in charge of the fifty-sixth Battle Barge that was ordered by High Command to patrol the enemy's sea lanes. He was sitting in his command chair and turned to the pilot.

''I believe that's the king's mana,'' he revealed with a chuckle. ''I heard his Majesty likes to suddenly appear to check up on things, rumors speak of people vanishing when he's displeased.''

Everyone shivered after hearing his warning, but soon enough, the mana radar operator shouted. ''Alliance fleet sailing toward Avidia, Captain. We should engage before they hit our ships that are on the way home.''

Following that, Stephan jumped up and replied in a stern tone. ''Who is it this time? The fake Avalonian king's vessels?''

''No, it's the Nightshade Empire, sir!'' the man replied instantly.

'Damn high elves and their annoying cannons,' he thought before steeling himself and ordering. ''Drop the barrel bombs on these fuckers and unleash chaos!''

Moments later, the craft plunged from the heavens, Gatling guns roaring to life with a relentless, bone-shaking hum as they unleashed a torrent of destruction upon the enemy ships below.

The sky blazed with a storm of mana shells, their brilliant arcs crashing against an unyielding shield that defied every strike. As the Battle Barge surged closer, Stephan's voice thundered over the chaos. ''Unleash it all, now! Let them witness our might!''

A cataclysmic barrage erupted, barrel bombs, cannons, and an arsenal of devastating weaponry rained down upon the Nightshade fleet. Explosions tore through the night, igniting the sea in fire and ruin.

The enemy cannons roared in defiance while peppering the sky with thousands of shells. But the Battle Barge was a phantom, weaving through the barrage, its crew unshaken, their resolve forged in the heart of battle.

Stephan gripped the command rail, his eyes ablaze with unyielding determination. ''Hold the line!'' he bellowed. ''We'll carve their graves in the sky!''

Yet, even as victory seemed within reach, tragedy struck. A sister barge, caught in the crossfire, shuddered under a devastating blow. Flames erupted from its flank as a mana shell breached its defenses, sending it spiraling out of control.

The mana radio said in a peaceful tone. ''It was a pleasure serving you, sir! But now watch us go out in a blaze of glory.'

With wide eyes, everyone on the barge watched as the crippled vessel flew straight into the heart of the Nightshade flagship, a behemoth bristling with turrets and shadow. The collision was apocalyptic.

The barge slammed into the flagship's core, igniting a cataclysmic explosion that split the night asunder. A blinding fireball erupted, swallowing both craft in a maelstrom of flame and molten steel.

Shrapnel rained like a meteor storm, and the shockwave rippled outward, rocking the Battle Barge but it quickly righted itself before retreating from the scene while heading back to Draconia.

The mana screen vanished while Aurelia looked shocked to the core. She slowly turned her head and asked in a concerned voice. ''Why did they kill themselves? How dedicated are your soldiers?''

Archer sighed before explaining. ''The Draconians are extremely loyal because they know the state will take care of their families. Currently the government pays out a hefty sum every month for the widows.''

''How does Draconia pay for it?'' she questioned in a curious tone.

Without warning, he teleported them into his horde under the treehouse. When Aurelia saw this her purple eyes widened as her jaw dropped. Archer chuckled at her reaction which made him bring up a mana version of his trove.

''There's much more; this goes down so deep that it would be impossible for me to spend in a single lifetime,'' he commented with a knowing smile. ''I still have to dump more I told from the Alliance.''

She was silent before shaking her head. ''So you spend your horde on the common people of Draconia? No other dragon would do that.''

''I know, but I'm different,'' he replied as they returned to the living room. ''I don't see the point of sitting on a mountain of gold without using it.''

After preparing the tea, the two of them settled down to enjoy it together. The mermaid woman's face lit up with delight as she savored the sweet, steaming drink that helped keep her warm in the winter weather.

As they sipped in comfortable silence, she glanced at him, her eyes softening, and spoke with a hopeful tone. ''I know this might seem sudden, but I'd like to clear something up before we go any further.''

Aurelia reached for his hand, her touch gentle but firm, and continued. ''I'm not ready for sex just yet. For my kind, it's an important step forward, one that takes time and careful thought. I hope you can understand.''

He smiled at her words before nodding in agreement, which surprised the beautiful young woman as he explained. ''I'm in no rush to have sex. I would love to, but only when you're ready.''

Archer leaned over and whispered into her ear. ''I prefer my women wanting it and eager to get ravaged, take your time gorgeous.''

Moments later, he kissed her cheek while pulling out a pizza and took a slice before offering one to the shocked young woman, who accepted his gesture with a giggle as the two started eating.

When the mermaid bit into the fresh food her eyes widened in shock, she quickly swallowed and inquired. ''What is this stuff, Arch?''

''Remember, it's called pizza,'' he said, taking another bite of the slice in his hand.

Aurelia was curious, and he could see it in her expression, prompting him to add. ''Yes, I will cook us a romantic dinner?''

The young woman got excited before nodding. ''That sounds good to me. I look forward to it, handsome,'' she said with a charming smile.

Following that, the two of them continued eating while she told him of her interests. He learned she would love to take command with Mary because she had an interest in warfare and tactics.

As Archer heard this, he summoned the mature primordial, who appeared a few minutes later. When the grey-haired woman emerged, a radiant smile spread across her face as she greeted him warmly.

''Hello, husband. Forgive me for not coming sooner; I was busy training the deep sea legions,'' she explained.

''That's fine,'' he said while standing up and hugging the older woman.

Archer's smile grew wider before asking. ''Could you help Aurelia learn the ropes of the deep sea legions?''

Mary instantly nodded and answered with a welcoming expression. ''That would be fine with me. Commanding so many soldiers and bases gets too much even for a primordial.''

Aurelia's eyes sparkled with excitement at the grey-haired woman's words. Without hesitation, she threw her arms around him in a tight embrace. After a few lingering seconds, she pulled back just enough to gaze into his eyes, then pressed a passionate kiss to his lips.

He quickly returned the gesture, which made the mermaid happy. Minutes later, they separated as Mary spoke to the younger woman. ''Would you like a tour of the main base? It would be good for you to see it?''

When Archer heard this, he nodded in agreement before explaining. ''It's amazing down there, wait until you see some of the views.''

Following that, the two said goodbye to him and left for the deep sea bases. Once he was alone he summoned Nala who was relaxing in the Domain. As she appeared she knew exactly what was about to happen.

Archer rose to his feet, peeling off his shirt in one smooth motion, instantly drawing her gaze. The lioness's eyes glinted with a hungry, lustful spark. ''Teasing me, husband?'' she purred, her voice low and playful as she closed the distance between them with slow steps.

Nala's eyes locked onto his with intensity as she moved toward him, her movements fluid and deliberate. With a graceful, feline ease, she climbed onto his lap, straddling him as her body pressed close.

Her lips curved into a naughty smile before she leaned in, capturing his mouth in a slow, seductive kiss that deepened with each passing second which sent a shock flowing through his body.

As their lips moved together, her hands roamed downward, fingers teasing along his skin until they slipped beneath his waistband, igniting a spark of heat between them. Soon she wrapped around his hard length.

Her tail swayed behind her as her desire ignited before speaking in a breathless voice. ''Pull these down, I want this inside me right now.''

When Archer heard this his violet eyes gleamed and did as she said while making his pants vanish allowing his member to rub against her pink slit which earned him a primal moan. ''Mmmmmhhh~~.''
